“I practiced law, in Hudson, as a trial lawyer for 38 years. I first met Jaime when he was an Assistant District Attorney in Eau Claire County, in the late 1980’s. He was prepared, knowledgeable, and dedicated. He asserted in both a compassionate and firm way for the rights of victims and witnesses, in and out of court.
I dealt with him in civil cases when he represented both plaintiffs and defendants. He again, was well prepared and assertive for his clients. I had the privileged of mediating several of his cases, where a resolution was reached, saving the clients the cost, both financially and emotionally, of a formal trial.
I have experienced and admired his dedication to his community, serving on committees together, including the St. Croix Bar Association Free Legal Clinic. He served the State Court system serving on the judicial selection committee. He has dedicated himself to his community through service on the Hudson School District, Bethel Lutheran Church, and Hudson Daybreak Rotary and other organizations.
I firmly believe Jaime will be an excellent judge. He is experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and impartial.”

Testimonials from Community Members

Nine years ago, when I moved to Hudson, one of the first things I wanted to do was join the Hudson Daybreak Rotary. It was there that I first met Jamie. From the start, I sought out Rotarians who were also YMCA members, and I quickly discovered that Jamie wasn’t just a member—he was a longstanding Y member deeply committed to its mission and the impact the Y has on our community.
Over the years, I’ve come to see just how dedicated Jamie is to our community. As a Rotarian, I’ve witnessed him devote countless hours to supporting the club and its initiatives, all of which contribute to making the St. Croix Valley a better place. Whether it’s selling car raffle tickets on hot summer days to raise funds for nonprofits or championing causes that matter, Jamie’s actions speak volumes.
But Jamie’s contributions go beyond his actions; they’re rooted in his character, faith, integrity, and unwavering commitment. I’ve seen firsthand the tireless effort he’s invested as a member of the Hudson Board of Education, ensuring our schools provide the exceptional education that my own children have benefited from.
Whether addressing challenging situations on the school board, making an impact through Rotary, or enjoying camaraderie in our YMCA Morning Fantasy Football league, Jamie stands out as a leader of remarkable character.
I can’t think of a better person to serve as our Circuit Court Judge!

As an administrator in the Hudson School District, I have seen firsthand his ability to listen, analyze complex issues, and prioritize the needs of others. Jamie’s strong character and unwavering integrity make him an excellent choice for St. Croix County Circuit Court Judge, and I fully endorse him for this important role.”

“I have known Jamie for over 30 years. First as a friend and fellow noon hour basketball player at the Woodson YMCA in Wausau, Wisconsin in the 1980’s. Then as Hudson Rotarians in the ‘90’s and 2000’s. And finally we served together on the Hudson School Board during part of the 2010 decade.
Jamie is a genuine, caring, responsible, and intelligent member of our community. He has served as a local attorney for many years and is held in high regard by those who know him best. I’ve observed him in these roles and can attest to his integrity, hardwork and dedication to the welfare of all in our community.
He is now running for Circuit Court Judge in St. Croix County. My belief is he will serve in this capacity as he has served in all his duties and responsibilities, with the utmost care, consideration and commitment to the office. I can’t imagine a more fair, considerate and dedicated judge in our court system. We would all benefit from his deliberations and judgments in this position.”

I've known Jamie for over 25 years. In business, as President of the Board of Education for the Hudson School District, at Rotary, and at many other community events and activities, Jamie possesses the qualities that would make him an outstanding Judge. He listens to all sides of an issue, stays calm in often very volatile situations, and then has the fortitude and self-control to deliver a fair solution to a complex problem. There's no one I would rather see sitting as Judge for our county.

I have had the privilege of growing to know Jamie over the past number of years, first while watching and appreciating his hard work at leading the Hudson School Board while being diligent in giving all views a voice, and later through Rotary and other community ventures. He is calm, thoughtful, caring, and has a great ability to see the root of a problem and bring it to a solution. He interviewed me several times for our local public access channel, his questions were always tough but fair and reflected the concerns of the community at large. I am proud to support his candidacy for St. Croix County Circuit Judge and cannot think of someone more dedicated to our county and to fairness and impartiality.

I can’t imagine a person that would be better suited to be a judge than Jamie. He is intelligent, “even keeled”, thoughtful, and empathetic. Jamie’s record of community service and professional experience speaks for itself. I strongly recommend that voters in St. Croix County choose Jamie in the upcoming election.”

If you know Jamie Johnson you both like and respect him. I’ve had the pleasure to serve our community alongside Jamie for almost 8 years as through Rotary. You won’t find a more fair minded or balanced person than Jamie. He listens, he cares, he is objective, he is even keeled, he’s professional, yet personable, and he’s wicked smart. I can’t think of a more suited individual to be elected as a judge in our community. I trust him to be all of the things a judge should be – impartial, fair minded, knowledgeable, experienced, decisive, strong, and compassionate. He’s honorable, reliable, and trustworthy. I can’t think of a better person to sit on the bench than Jamie Johnson.
